Listen To Your Heart

Monday, March 22nd, 2010

Listen to your heart.

Oftentimes, the desires of others, obligations, responsibilities, societal customs, and the mandates of long-ago established but outdated goals, hide a person’s true desires.  This prevents them from knowing much less following their truest paths of destiny.

Avoid this if possible. Steer clear of restraining your heart with too many overly-detailed and long-term plans. Enable it to change its “mind” as it will. Live as a  free spirit  because sometimes, the heart is naturally fickle. Don’t hold to a goal you created yesterday if it makes you unhappy today. Indeed, to get the most happiness from life, be flexible enough to cater to your hearts’ whims as much as you can.

If you follow your heart on more of a day-to-day basis, it will lead you to where you must go for maximal satisfaction. So watch out for those who insist on “guiding” you through life, because while their advice may emanate from the best intentions, it may not apply to you, and so, can restrain you from realizing your dreams. So, protect chances to be happy. Stay free.
